How to set up a game

From "we have a game Saturday" to a full inning-by-inning lineup in about a minute.

1

Create the game

On the team page, tap Games → New game. Add the opponent, date, and how many innings you're playing. That's it — you can come back and edit any of it later.

2

Mark attendance

Open the game and tap Setup. Toggle each player as playing or out. Coach Card only builds the lineup around players who are actually there, which means no scrambling when half a kid's family is at a wedding.

3

Auto-generate the lineup

Tap Auto-generate. The AI takes a few seconds to build every inning, respecting your team's lineup plan, each player's position preferences, and fair playing time. You'll see a spinner — let it cook, it's worth it.

4

Tweak the batting order

Drag any player up or down. Or hit Order by # to sort by jersey number, or Randomize for a shuffle. Position assignments can be swapped the same way.

5

Go live

On game day, open the game and tap Live. Big tap-targets for runs, outs, and inning changes — built for sunlight and one-handed dugout use. The score and the lineup stay in sync for every coach you've invited.

6

Review the recap

After the final out, the Recap tab shows the score, who played where, and the full batting order. Great for the postgame text to the parents.
